Jackson Carlaw MSP has praised the efforts of everyone involved with transforming ‘The Cartvale’ in Busby after he was recently given a tour of the refurbished pub.
The local MSP was shown the range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for customers, the kitchen, beer garden, menu of freshly made food, barista coffee making facility and he even got to pour a pint for customers himself!
Key amongst the drinks offering, is the non-alcoholic, Heineken 0.0. Very similar to a pint of Heineken Lager, the non-alcoholic variety offers a tasty alternative for customers and is well worth a try.
The pub caters for all age ranges and hosts live music from Friday to Sunday.
Sky TV has also been acquired so that customers can watch major sporting occasions such as football, golf and tennis when enjoying a drink or meal.
The Cartvale, located on Main Street in Busby has been backed by Heineken and received investment totalling £385,000 to allow the revamp of the site to go ahead.
The pub re-opened under new ownership in September 2019.
Jackson Carlaw MSP for Eastwood said:
“It was excellent to see in person the impressive re-design that has taken place at The Cartvale.
“The focus that has been adopted is very much on providing a first class service for the local community in Busby and Eastwood.
“A delicious food menu has been put together and the bar hosts a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I even had the opportunity to test my own skills behind the bar although not with much success!”
“I will definitely be back but next time, I think I will leave the pint pouring to the professionals!”
